A workshop exploring identity-defining memories. Provided writing prompts, zine making and binding demonstration, art supplies, curated source material, as well as coffee and donuts. Over 38 people attended and produced new publications and more than 30 zines were created and archived at the University of Miami’s Special Collections. The event was free and open to the public.
A zine workshop that aimed to reflect personal history by tapping into parallel dimensions where participants’ “real” events, characters, and places transform into allegories, creatures, and playgrounds.
